With the anti-inflammatory action of turmeric, and blood sugar regulating mechanism of cinnamon this smoothie is perfect as a post-workout refuel or a pick-me-up during busy, stressful days!
- 1 cup of frozen mango (or a frozen banana if not in season)
- 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice
- A serve of protein powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon maca powder
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or MCT oil
(great for long standing metal clarity and focus)
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender or bullet blender for 30-60seconds until smooth and creamy.
