Eat like a Ballerina

Pre-Performance Glow Smoothie

For naturally glowing skin, it is beneficial to incorporate more dark leafy green vegetables, algae’s and healthy fats in your diet. This smoothie is the perfect place to start!

The ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ¼ avocado (If not in season, add 2 tablespoons of yogurt instead)
  • A handful each of spinach and kale
  • A small handful of fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  • ¾ cup cold almond milk
  • Optional: A serve of natural protein powder, 1tsp of spirulina

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender or bullet blender for 30-60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
